AfriAlliance presentation at ANBO General Assembly

From 19 to 22 September, the General Assembly of the African Network of Basin Organizations (ANBO) took place in Kigali, Rwanda. AfriAlliance was also represented. AfriAlliance consortium partner INBO (International Network of Basin Organizations) attended the event and introduced the objectives and the progress of the AfriAlliance project in a presentation in the plenary session. The audience consisted of basin organizations and local and national administrations in charge of the integrated management of water resources at basin level. They welcomed the AfriAlliance contribution and its relevance for adaptation to climate change in Africa.

The members of ANBO in particular expressed interest to liaise AfriAlliance with AMCOW and discuss opportunities of cooperation around the Priority Action Program-Water Resources Management (PAP-GRE).
