The energy potential of the wastewater sector: workshop in Bruxelles on the REEF 2W project
Lead Partner ENEA – the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development – will hold a workshop in Bruxelles focused on the approach developed within the REEF 2W Poject. The workshop, titled “The energy potential of the wastewater sector: the REEF 2W approach” will take place on Thursday 6th June in Rue de Namur 72 from 14h00 to 18h15.
REEF 2W aims to increase renewable energy and energy efficiency by integrating, combining and empowering urban wastewater and organic waste management systems. The project is funded by the INTERREG Central Europe Program and sees the participation of public and private institutions from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. A panel session with guests of high standing from European Commission and other relevant associations will follow in order to trigger a fruitful discussion on how to minimize the energetic impact of the waste and wastewater treatment plants.
You can find more information and the detailed program on the attachment below, and on the REEF 2W webpages.
